Where do producers go for feedback when you need an honest opinion? Friends and family of course but they aren't the ones buying your beats right? Shoutout to your friends that support your craft if so! For the most part you hope what your making slaps and the world will see you about it. Well we have a solution for the producer community! It's Friday so we providing you with not only a new episode of The IdOMUSIC Podcast featuring nothing but Grammy audio engineers this week but our weekly playlist as well. While seeking some inspiration the other day, I came across a great piece by Vevo on the history of Scott Storch. The man is a magician on the keys. He lived the life and played a bit hard taking a fall but has since bounced back stronger than ever. The video displays his story of the classic hollywood tale consisting of the come up and the fall.
One thing you shouldn't do is sleep on the importance of the audio engineer.. Often times at the studio, the engineer will get asked to teach and share the knowledge. You shouldn't be in your feelings if they aren't all ready to give up the keys to their quality sound. Let us not mention the added headaches necessary to even receive credit on werk they completed. We have a starting point for you and the Engineer's Corner assembled of the Patchwerk Recording Studios audio engineers is a great look.
It's time to give our IdOMUSIC TV a reboot! I really think people may not understand the difference between a host and personality. Well let me attempt to break it down as we open our doors to the talent prepared to werk with us this fall season.

The latest edition of the IdOMUSIC Podcast brings on our first ever tour manager Chris Patterson. He handles the tour duties of The Wondaland Arts Society as well as manages Deante Hitchcock. Great insight packed into an hour with host Sammy Approved at the legendary Patchwerk Recording Studios!
Woke up and heard a track that moved me to just create a new segment on here called F'K Wid It Fridays. Inspired by all the brave acts that submit music to our online music review program. For me I'm looking at the consistency in which you keep yourself progressing. Participating in our online conversations, making yourself visible at local functions, supporting the other artist around you, and more. In other words get in The NetWerk and see results!
The Tight 32 Emcee and Producer Contest is entering its third year. I wanted to share where I think the gifted are missing their shot at maximizing the opportunities presented through the IdOMUSIC & Patchwerk Recording Studios platform.
