The file-sharing protocol, BitTorrent, has landed on iOS after years of being rejected.
Thanks to the diligent research developer that finally figured how to get through the insane piracy delaying Apple to grant the go ahead. The application is called Blue Downloader. It only allows users to access above-board torrent sites, most of which offer content within the public dominion. A few for example are BitTorrent's own Bundle, Bitlove(podcast archiving), Archive.org, Public Domain Flicks and Librivox.

Over 800 million devices(with 75 billion app downloads) currently utilize the BitTorrent's Bundle program. This new app could serve as a resurgence for the company which has suffered from association with piracy. Considering how the Pirate Bay and other sites distribute files, it is understandable the reputation received. The company has bounced back well reforming its image, using Madonna, Death Grips and, most recently, the Brooklyn electronic label Fool's Gold to use the digital distribution platform.
Are you a user of BitTorrents? How will this make the process easier for you? Let us know!
