Ms. Lauryn Hill Did It First

Written by

Love was in the air, along with clouds of smoke, at the Lauryn Hill Concert on Tuesday. Her visit, one of many on her “Diaspora Calling” tour took place at the Tabernacle and just so happened to fall on Valentine’s Day. It provided a perfect opportunity for couples to grab a drink and snuggle up in their seats as they awaited Ms. Hill’s arrival.

Album Review: Kehlani - Sweet Sexy Savage

Written by

The wait is finally over! Kehlani dropped her album around 11 pm on Jan. 27, and the world came to a halt. All you could see on social media was screenshots of each individual's favorite song. After two years since her last release, her fans were patiently waiting for the arrival of her first album. The wait was worth it; her fans were gifted with a story of heartbreak, growth, love, and life. Album Review: Big Sean - I Decided

Written by

Coming off the early release of singles “Bounce Back,” “Moves,” and “Halfway Off the Balcony,” rapper Big Sean delivers in his fourth studio album I Decided.

Big Sean has come a long way from Finally Famous. For this album he worked heavily with up and coming producer and keyboardist Amaire Johnson, which provides a consistency and fluidity with each track. You can hear the Kanye West influence in tracks “Bounce Back” and “Sunday Morning Jetpack.”

How the Migos are Dominating 2017 Already

Written by

The Migos have long had an imprint on Atlanta’s trap music scene, ranging back to their 2013 smash hit “Versace” off their Y.R.N. (Young Rich N*****) mixtape. They followed up on this success with charting singles “Handsome and Wealthy”, “Fight Night”, and “Pipe it Up”. While these hit singles, along with a bevy of heavily backed mixtapes, put Migos on the map, famed Atlanta music influencer, Migos manager, and Quality Control Label Exec Coach K had something more in mind for the Atlanta trio.
