The Plaque of the Month for July goes to the Brooklyn emcee Nas. Listed in many conversations as one of hip hop's greatest, Patchwerk Recording Studio's has the honor of saying we have werked on numerous projects including the July 15, 2008 release "Untitled." Amongst all the excitement of Jay Z releasing what some view as his most socially awoke album, you only need to look in your hip hop history books to realize Nasir Jones has tackled these issues for years.
The follow up to our Tight 32 Finale which took place back in January finally aired this past week on The Complex Network. Our Tight 32 engineer Latrez McClam loaded up each artist matched with producer to recite their 32 bars. Every artist was able to receive the tracks days in advance before the session so nothing but bars were being served.

Who are these individuals taking the title of mvp you say? Only the person who can bend and maneuver your vocals into a werk of art. Yes you already know how we spell this around The Patch! The engineers!
