The Plaque of the Month for July goes to the Brooklyn emcee Nas. Listed in many conversations as one of hip hop's greatest, Patchwerk Recording Studio's has the honor of saying we have werked on numerous projects including the July 15, 2008 release "Untitled." After going through much drama with South Africa where he has been detained since top of the year for attempting to leave country with a world passport. He has now been deemed an "undesirable person" by the country's home affairs department and will not be allowed to return.
The unfortunate events have led to new music solely produced with Ferrari Sheppard. The entire project was recorded in South Africa. Long time fans of Yasiin will rejoice to hear new music. The project is streaming on Tidal and tonight you can watch the exclusive concert. With such a story behind the music would it make you want to listen to the album more or does it matter? Give the album and listen and share comments .
