A Virginia native recently relocating to the music mecca of ATL, put his all into the music and walked away with the crown of Tight 32 Emcee of The Month. The artist by the name of Awethentic was able to deliver his 32 bar flow to beat out 11 other contestants. Find out more as he sits down with personality Porchia Marie for his Spotlight Interview.

The month of October brought us a new champion to the producer arena by the name of MiniProducer. Only the second female to wear the crown in almost two years of the ongoing contest. Jasmine aka MiniProducer is originally from Kennesaw, GA and claims it! She visited Patchwerk Recording Studios to conduct her Spotlight Interview with our new personality on our IdOMUSIC TV channel Porchia Marie.

The Patchwerk Playlist is released once a month, and is compiled of favorites from the staff at Patchwerk Recording Studios in Atlanta, Ga. With input from engineers to interns, the Patchwerk Playlist hits just about every vibe you would want the perfect playlist to hit.

Recap - Cookies & Lemonade Review (10/09/2017)

The team at IdOMUSIC ONLINE would like to wish our host Jamear J HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We celebrated at the IdOMUSIC Showcase on Thursday October 5. Both Jamear J & Awethenic share a birthday. Best wishes to all of our Libras. Okay, now let's jump into the recap.

Monday’s episode of Cookies and Lemonade, was my pre-birthday episode! We brought out our Special Guest: Kishawn, Patchwerk’s official videographer and our Engineer Trez! This episode we also brought back the Lemonade Segment! This is the segment where we give updates on what's happening here at Patchwerk! The highlighted event was this Thursday’s IdOMUSIC Showcase at Apache Cafe from 8pm-12am. It is A3C week and everyone is in the A! You don’t want to miss this! Did you know that if you RSVP (email names to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) for the showcase and arrive between 8:00pm and 8:30 pm, you get in free? You’re welcome.

Cookies and Lemonade is geared to give musicians and artists the chance to hear real time feedback on their music while also giving our Patchwerk & idOMUSIC audience a chance to discover new music, but remember! It’s called Cookies and Lemonade but it ain't always sweet! Tell a friend to tell a friend to submit music!

Do I Really Need my Song Mixed?

Simply put…yes, you do. If you plan on exposing your music to the public, selling your music, or performing your music, you want your song to be mixed, so that you are delivering the best product.

Recording is a very small step in creating and distributing music, however it is one that you want to make sure you get the best quality from. A house that starts with a shaky foundation is bound to break over time…and the same applies for your vocals.

Thursday night’s episode of Cookies and Lemonade was very special. We featured not one, but 2 Patchwerk engineers, our #Tight32 Engineer Latrez and the one named K-Rich both gave amazing feedback. Both Dre and I even felt left out at one point because K-Rich and Trez kept speaking that #EngineerTalk (New hashtag alert)!. Whenever he sits on the show, you’re guaranteed to get accurate feedback, said in such a pleasant way. Also, on this episode, we debuted a new segment: The Lemonade Stand! The Lemonade Stand is where we highlight what’s happening around Patchwerk.

The month of August brought along another hard fought battle between our emcees from various places in the country to display their 32 bars at the legendary Patchwerk Recording Studios. The production from DvDX set the tone as our winner Yung Seldom took the crown. Watch below the performance and interviews with the young emcee!
