It's been a long time and we shouldn't have left you, without a strong networking event to connect to! Okay pardon my attempt to rhyme but it's an exciting time in the city of Atlanta. The team at Patchwerk Recording Studios is gearing up to bring back The IdOMUSIC Network and Showcase event next month back in the house where it all started, Apache Cafe! Really excited for all the fresh talent perhaps you never heard of or never got a chance to meet personally. Believe it or not IdOMUSIC turns 10 years old in September and what a time to set up the platform for the music community to shine.

The reason the city of Atlanta continues to thrive in the realm of music involves the extensive networking happening daily. Patchwerk Recording Studios knows a thing or two about the process. If you actually have a plan with realistic goals, you can make quite a path for yourself. This was part of the idea for creating the IdOMUSIC® Weekend which was recently completed in Flint, Michigan last month June 24th-June 26th.

Recording, Mixing, Mastering, and Monetization w/ Patchwerk Staff

The legendary Patchwerk staff gathered at Patchwerk Recording Studios to discuss Recording, Mixing, Mastering, and Monetizing services offered at the studio. These are all essential when it comes to making a hit record. The werkshop was separated into three different sections so that the audience was able to digest each service and understand the importance of the process for their record.

Many artists, managers, and producers gathered to get industry tips on music publishing from Kobalt Publishing’s VP of Creative Services, Al “Butter” McLean. Al Butter has been with Kobalt for over 10 years working with numerous clients such as Paul McCartney, Lauryn Hill, Katy Perry, and Noah “40” Shebib.

The recap video is up from Saturday March 5th 2016 Weekend Werkshop with Travis Nuckles discussing How To Effectively Promote and Market Your Music For Radio. The house was packed as always for our 4th consecutive sold out event.

Our next werkshop is Fundamentals of Publishing with Al "Butter" McLean slated for Saturday March 26, 2016! Purchase tickets here.

Our weekend werkshop topic to close the end of November featured Dj Nabs discussing The Importance of The DJ. If you missed it check out the recap. Plenty of insight was given on how to break into the industry as a dj and establish yourself.  Our next werkshop is scheduled to take place Saturday, December 12th 2015. Make sure you are taking advantage of the netwerk!
